The material does the talking. Joinery carries the load. Fantastically simple.
Wood first — unmolested grain, old growth, upcycled stock. Other honest materials join when they do real work. Knockdown, sashimono-inspired fitting, Shaker restraint, Danish and midcentury line.
- Strength Built to work. Structure you can see and trust.
- Portability Knockdown where it matters. A piece that cannot fit a new space waits in a garage.
- Simplicity Joinery over hardware. Few cuts. Grain stays readable.
- Materials Unmolested and upcycled wood first. Metal, earth, fabric, leather when they earn a place — never chrome for chrome’s sake.
Glue and fasteners stay low. They are never a substitute for a good joint.
